Journey to Crimea – arrival in Simferopol

Today we head to Crimea: transfer to Simferopol, the peninsula’s capital. We explore the old town, soak up the bazaar atmosphere and get a briefing for our days in Crimea. Hotel check-in.

Sevastopol & the New Chersonesos

A day trip to Sevastopol – hero city and Russian naval base. We visit the New Chersonesos (Chersonesus), the monumental memorial complex and the ancient Greek ruins where the Christianization of Russia began. Panoramic views over the Black Sea bay.

Yalta – arrival on the riviera

We continue along the south coast to Yalta. The “Nice of the East” welcomes us with palm trees, a seaside promenade and a stunning mountain backdrop. We explore the town centre, stroll along the waterfront promenade, and enjoy our first evening in Yalta.

Crimea’s landmarks

A day dedicated to the highlights: the Swallow’s Nest, Livadia Palace (the tsars’ summer residence and site of the 1945 Yalta Conference), and the Vorontsov Palace. We visit the key sights with a professional tour guide – all admissions included.
