Discover Saint Petersburg – 6 Days in the Tsars’ City with German-Speaking Guide
Price range: ₽189,000.00 through ₽322,050.00
Description
Canals instead of boulevards, baroque façades, world-class art behind river promenades – six days in the Tsars’ city with a personal German-speaking guide, a tailored itinerary and plenty of freedom for your own discoveries.
What kind of trip is this?
Saint Petersburg is unlike any other city in Russia. Canals instead of wide boulevards, baroque façades instead of Soviet architecture, world-class art behind river promenades – and an atmosphere suspended between the era of the tsars and the present day. This trip gives you six days to truly get to know the city – with a personal guide, a tailored itinerary, and plenty of freedom for your own discoveries.
Who is this trip for?
You get an introduction that’s rarely this personal: airport pickup, help with a SIM card, currency exchange and apps – and a city that opens up to you layer by layer. No English needed, no Russian required.
Even better – then we’ll go deeper. If you’ve already visited the Hermitage, this time you’ll discover other layers of the city. There’s always something you haven’t seen yet.
Your benefits at a glance
A trip with Moya Rossiya is an all-inclusive, worry-free package – so you can focus on what matters: experiencing the city.
What makes Saint Petersburg so special?
🗺️ Your route at a glance
📋 The itinerary – day by day
You land – we’re already there
Pickup at Pulkovo Airport, transfer to the hotel, check-in. We help you activate a SIM card and make your first currency exchange. Depending on your arrival time, we’ll show you Nevsky Prospect – Petersburg’s grand avenue – that same evening, or take a stroll along the Neva as the city settles into the evening light.
The Hermitage & Palace Square
The Hermitage is one of the world’s largest art museums – over three million exhibits, housed in the tsars’ Winter Palace. We guide you through the most important halls and show you what’s truly worth seeing – without overwhelming you. Beforehand: Palace Square, one of the most impressive squares in Europe.
Peterhof – Russia’s Versailles
Peterhof lies 30 kilometers west of the city, right on the Gulf of Finland. Over 150 fountains, golden statues, sprawling parkland and views out to sea. In summer the fountains run, in winter everything lies under snow – both have their own charm. We travel there together and show you what’s waiting beyond the famous Grand Cascade.
Church on Spilled Blood, Kazan Cathedral & the canals
The Church of the Resurrection – known as the Church on Spilled Blood – is Petersburg’s most colorful building: vivid mosaics, onion domes, built on the spot where Tsar Alexander II was assassinated. Right next door stands the elegant Kazan Cathedral. Afterward, we stroll through Petersburg’s canal network – the city has more canals than Amsterdam. In the afternoon, optionally the Summer Garden, one of Russia’s oldest parks.
Peter and Paul Fortress & Nevsky Prospect
The Peter and Paul Fortress is the birthplace of the city – founded by Peter the Great in 1703. The cathedral inside is the burial site of the Romanov tsars. From there we head to Nevsky Prospect – five kilometers of grand avenue that’s shop window, promenade and the city’s main artery all at once.
Farewell, Petersburg – or how about a little more?
The last morning is yours. We arrange your transfer to Pulkovo Airport timed to your departure. Or continue your journey: to Moscow (4 hours on the Sapsan high-speed train), to Krasnodar and southern Russia, to Siberia and Lake Baikal, or aboard the Trans-Siberian Railway.

What travellers say
The Hermitage would have completely overwhelmed us without a guide. This way we saw the most important halls and still had every afternoon free to discover the city on our own.
I thought I’d already been to Petersburg. With Alyona I got to know an entirely different city, and the airport pickup took away all my nerves.
